Couponing fun!

I coupon every week...I've learned to enjoy it (or at least I enjoy the going to the store and saving money part). I've actually gotten to the point where I feel ripped off if I have to pay full price for something. Asher is learning the value of a good coupon early. Here he is helping me with this weeks coupons...

Asher update

Okay so I've been really bad about updating the blog. We've had so much fun the last couple of months I haven't had time! We've gotten to do some spring/summer traveling over long weekends. We went to Arizona for Kris's 20 year HS reunion, we've traveled to Indiana to see my mom's side of the family, and we've traveled to the lake house in East Texas twice.

Asher is now 7 months old. He has 7 teeth (I know it's crazy). He can crawl, sit up by himself and say "mama" and "dada". He LOVES to play with his toys, go swimming and take baths. He is a really good eater, his favorite foods include, bananas, squash, cheerios, apple sause, watermelon and peaches. He's always happy and smiling.

Attack of the doggie

It was just a normal evening...Asher was in his "frog and friends" pjs getting ready for bed.




Then all the sudden out of nowhere a doggie came and started attacking...


It was okay, cause Asher had a plan of defense...eat his nose.


After that they made up and decided to be friends...

And then they headed off to bed.

7 week Pictures

We got professional pics taken of Asher at 7 weeks. He did amazing! The photographer said that she had been shooting babies for 5 years and does about 100 babies a month and can count on one hand how many will smile and look at the camera that early. She actually ask if we would give permission for the company to use him in promotional material (maybe you'll see him around). We are thrilled with how well the pics turned out! Here are just a few of my favorites!

Bath Time

Ash loves bath time! The warm water, the nice smelling soap...I mean what's not to love?

Happy Baby

I'm so blessed to have such an easy baby. He's so portable, he loves to go visit friends, go on car rides and go out to eat. He also has enjoyed shopping from time to time. Ash has been all smiles since we came home for the hospital (which I guess is a little unusual that he smiled so early). He is Mr. Personality!
