Kris and I headed to Columbus to watch the Ohio State vs. Purdue game and visit with Jessica and Paul and Marc and Maribeth (Maribeth and Jess were both bridesmaids in my wedding). Jess and Paul bought a new house in Columbus a year ago and were so gracious to let all of us stay with them for the weekend. Mar and Marc came in from DC.

I was super excited to show Kris campus (since he hadn't been there before) and to go to the Shoe! Friday we all hung out on campus and met up with some of the professors from the business school, at the famous Varsity Club for lunch. We learned that there had been tons of Brutus' (our school mascot) put all around the basketball arena, we had to head over there to see all the Brutus'.

Cousins from DC

The same weekend that we dog-sat, my cousin Cheryl and her husband, Robert, came to visit from DC for the weekend. Robert's son, Carson, lives in Katy, so they came in to see Carson for his birthday. They all stayed with us and hung out. Saturday night we all went to Champps to watch the Texas and Ohio State games. Sunday morning we met my parents for brunch. It was a fun weekend, however, I forgot to take pictures (probably cause I was outside taking pictures of Vic and Gus)...so this is the only pic I have from the fun-filled weekend.

Okay sorry about having 3 posts in one day...but this was too funny not to put on here! My friend Dianna (you may have seen her blog since it's linked to mine) put this on her blog and I thought it was so funny that I should continue to pass it around...good find Dianna - this is hilarious!

Dog Sitting

Two weekends ago (yes two weeks, can you tell I'm behind on blogging) we dog sat for our friends, Taylor and Elizabeth Guess' puppy Gus. I thought it was so funny how Gus and Vic became instant BFFs and Gus would do whatever Vic did.

It was a fun weekend, Vic was sad to see his new BFF go back home, but I'm sure they'll see each other again soon!

This is a fun little game...I was tagged by my SWEET friend Camille to post the 6th picture in the 6th folder in My Pictures...so here it is.

In late May I went to a little town called Cripple Creek, Colorado for work (my sweet friend/co-worker Kasey came with me, it was so much fun). The road to Cripple Creek took us through the mountains, it was so beautiful. This was a picture taken on the way to the little town.
